Qualifications

SELECTIVE PLACEMENT FACTOR (SCREEN-OUT) - Two Selective Placement Factors (SPF) have been identified for this position. Selective Placement Factors (SPF) are a prerequisite to appointment and represent minimum requirements for the position. Applicants who do not meet the SPF are ineligible for further consideration. The SPF for this position is: Experience maintaining stock levels and distribution of medical supplies. (Note: this experience must be clearly documented on resume(s) to receive further consideration) The SPF for this position is: Requires a current, valid state-issued driver's license for this position. In addition, to meet the minimum qualifications for this position, you must meet one the following: SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: One (1) full year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-4 level in the Federal service that equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of this Supply Technician (Medical) position. Specialized experience includes providing supplies and material to clinical and/or administrative areas of a facility; scanning, bar-coding, receiving, storing and distributing supplies, instruments and other material; pulling stock, replenishing stock and maintaining records on stock levels; monitoring expiration dates; cleaning assigned areas in accordance with regulations and policy; utilizing an automated system to maintain inventory; and answers customer questions regarding supplies and materials. (Note: this experience must be clearly documented on resume(s) to receive credit) OR EDUCATION SUBSTITUTION (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED): Successfully completed 4 years above high school in any field for which high school graduation or the equivalent is the normal prerequisite. This education was obtained in an accredited business, secretarial or technical school, junior college, college or university. OR COMBINATION (TRANSCRIPTS REQUIRED): Possess an equivalent combination of specialized experience and post high school education as described above that demonstrates my ability to perform the duties of this position. For the GS-05, only education in excess of 60 semester hours (2 years) is creditable.
