Applications are invited from qualified individuals for a 100% full-time non-tenure track, open rank, specialized faculty position in Marketing within the Department of Business Administration. for teaching courses in Marketing. We are particularly interested in candidates who can teach courses such as Marketing Research, Marketing Analytics, AI-related topics, and general marketing and business topics. Specialized faculty are expected to teach at the graduate and undergraduate levels, in person and online, as needed, and engage in activities that maintain faculty qualifications under AACSB guidelines. We are interested in candidates who will bring excellence to campus via outstanding research, teaching, and service.   The Department of Business Administration is a large and diverse unit, which includes graduate and undergraduate programs across eight academic areas (i.e., Organizational Behavior, Strategic Management, International Business, Marketing, Operations Management, Information Systems, Business Analytics, and Supply Chain). Additional information about the Department may be found <a href="https://giesbusiness.illinois.edu/business-administration">here</a>.    SPECIFIC DUTIES, RESPONSIBILITIES, AND MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Prospective candidates can be considered for any of the following roles:   ·        Teaching faculty deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience, publish on topics related to business pedagogy, and engage in related pedagogical activities to make both an instructional impact and a curricular impact within and beyond the department. Candidates must possess a PhD and teaching experience. ·        Lecturers deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience and support the department through service responsibilities. Candidates must have at least a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and some professional experience. ·        Instructors deliver an effective and engaging classroom experience and support the department through service responsibilities. Candidates must have at least a master’s degree or equivalent degree and some professional experience.   SALARY AND APPOINTMENT INFORMATION This is a 9-month, 100%-time specialized faculty position with a teaching load of 6 courses per academic year. The budgeted salary range for the position is $100,000-$125,000 at the Instructor level, $115,000-$135,000 at the Lecturer level, $125,000-$145,000 at the Teaching Assistant level, $145,000-$160,000 at the Teaching Associate Level, $160,000-$175,000 at the Teaching Professor level, for a 9 month service basis. Salary is commensurate with qualifications and experience and includes a comprehensive benefits package.
